The baby step

On the spirit of New Year, i will put myself on to you readers. Yup, this is my first attempt to do an outfit photo (blushing red lobster). I guess it’s not a big deal, everybody does it, it’s fun, and bla bla bla. But it is not, i am so awkward and neither posh. I dont know how to pose or look to camera, i ended up like a mannequin challenge. But you know what they say, practice makes perfect, so i will practice more and more. My first photo shoot (damn, i feel fancy) took place in Braga, Bandung. Me as virgo, i really hard on myself, i am not happy with the result. So I will blabber to you guys about my first attempt to do photo shoot.  As you can see, there are lots of retouch and filter that i used. Because it’s around 9pm, it’s in outside and there are lot of people walking around. I really appreciated my friend taking photos. It’s really good tho’, i just need to work my angle and to loosen up. This is my first baby step, i will work hard for ...

Am I a (good) Fashion Blogger?

Gue baru aja mereview blog gue and comparing to other fashion blogger (well the famous one I mean). Setelah gue sadari ternyata gue gak pernah upload poto outfit gue ato pun poto-poto kece kayak Sonia eryka, Evita Nuh, ato siapapun fashion blogger di Indonesia. It is kinda ironic that I (I labeled myself as fashion blogger) had not a single shot of myself posted on my blog. Apakah fashion blog gue patut dipertanyakan dikarenakan gue sendiri gak punya poto poto kece layaknya fashion blogger lainnya? Well umm bukannya gue gak mau ato gimana ya, tapi gue gak suka aja sih poto-poto kece gitu. Ada beberapa alasan kenapa gue gak mau ·          Gue mau pembaca lebih memahami isi blog gue sendiri dan beberapa pemikiran gue sendiri juga. Gue gak bisa poto-poto kece, actually in any kind of photo shot. I always end up with the weird facial expression or stiff pose (well positive thinking aja kalo si potografernya gak jago ngambil poto gue). ...

"OH SNAP..!!"

Yesterday I went to the mall with my friend, We went to H&M. trus gue liat anak skitaran umur 14 ato 15 tahunan lagi milih-milih baju sama bokap nya, I was totally amazed with her look (no, I looked at her not in a creepy way , gue gak pedofilia ya). She w ore 90’s grunge outfit; maroon plaid flannel shirt with black tank top , black jeans, black choker, black doc boots, and grey nirvana crop top sweater in her hand. I was amazed with her look, she totally nailed the 90’s (mostly) grunge look even she wasn’t born yet in that era. Gue jadi mikir is it good to bring 90’s back? Well 90’s years was fun actually, we have backstreet boys, spice girls, nirvana, blink 82, no doubt and so many more (this is just the music) we also ha d great sitcom s and cartoons (much better and kids related than generation nowadays) mainan era 90an juga keren, kayak tamagochi ato gamebot (I just can’t get enough with these two). Ak h irnya tahun pun berlalu, kita pun berubah menjadi de...

Wear with purpose

So, I will tell you my story about me for being called a hipster, I promise it’ll be short. We all know what hipster is, they are teenage-urban culture, they choose a whole new different lifestyle, clothes, and everything. In fact I couldn’t understand their mindset and of course I don’t want to know. So a few days ago it was rain in my neighborhood, probably because I life in hill. So when raining seasons comes, it always heavy rain in my neighborhood, but dry and sunny in the downtown or my college. So lately I wore a hat to cover up my head, and no, I don’t have a hooded jacket to cover my head. So I borrowed a knit cap from my brother, it’s not an expensive or cool one, just an average greyish knit cap. I put my sweater and cap on, I got to admit, I pretty look cool though on it and I’m ready to go. As I thought, I knew that it’s only raining in my neighborhood and sunny in my college. And when I walk to my class, my friend shouted hipster to me. All I did just wear my old swea...

Perception

I’m kind of closed person. I don’t want to tell every of my friends about my dreams, because I thought I am not good enough to achieve it and I still have a raw talent in designing also lack of confident. But as the time goes by, one by one I tell them about my big dream, and surprisingly they supporting me. They told me that I have a big talent in designing and ask me to trust myself (I am so blessed to have you guys as my friends, thank you). Now I begin to trust myself and improving my skills in designing. Every time I made a sketch I dedicated to all of my friends, I want to make them proud of me, because without them I would still be a person with a lack confident and doubting my big dream. Okay enough chit chat about my wonderful friend, let’s get back to topic. In one afternoon, I’m just hanging out with my friends in one of my friend houses. Then I drag one of my best friend to a corner( I still didn’t tell all of my friends about my big dream actually, I just told my bi...

“I like the fashion to go down to the street, but I can’t accept that it should originate there”- Coco Chanel

A shout out to the all street style, “Since when y’all goes edgy and why?”. I did a little research about street style, I couldn’t find the definition in the Wikipedia. What I found in the Wikipedia are street wear and street fashion, so I guess the street style is the closest thing with the street fashion. Well, definition the street   fashion is fashion that is considered to have emerged not from the studios, but from the grassroots. Street fashion is generally associated with youth culture and is most often seen in major urban centers. That’s what Wikipedia says, you can check it. But according to my version, street style is people who get inspired from the runway and then applied to everyday clothing while keeping it simple and comfy.                 Now let’s talk about how street style nowadays. I always curious how they choose the shoes, suit, dress and blend it with the strong colors. It’s li...
